Reflux and feeding
Recently I started giving 120ml every 3 hrs to my 7 weeks old baby , but there was lot of reflux , so I switched back to 90ml every 3 hrs . But now his wet nappies has decreased and especially at night at 90ml once he went 5 hrs without peeing. Is my son dehydrated? Should I increase his feed to 120ml again?

Always look for 4 signs for proper feeding habits 1. Baby sleeps 2 hrs post feeding 2. baby is passing atleast urine 6-7 times /day 3. baby is gaining weight 20-30 grams/day 4. Baby is playful and activ while waking up. For ur baby Start giving feeds 2 hourly. before u were giving 120 ml / 3 hourly means 6 hourly baby was receiving 240 ml. Now cut down to 80 ml / 2 hourly which is 240 ml / 6 hourly.

Hello!! Good morning Is the baby also on breast feeding?90 ml 8 hourly is not insufficient for your 7 week baby.please also mention the weight of baby. If your baby total urine output atleast 6-7 times in 24 hours and sleep well after feeding as well as gaining weight.no worry regarding time of wet nappy.
