Redness in right eye
Redness in right eyes. Swelling sometimes in lower portion of eye and sometimes upper portion. I had it on 22nd April. Consulted an eye doctor. He prescribed Quadmox, Lotepra, lacrovisc eye drops and Virson gel. It was ok after 4-5. Days. Then at May end I got my swelling back, it usually goes away in a days time, now redness when I sleep or go out. Headache like sinus and feeling little stress or pain in eye area only right eye. My question is I had covid last year. And as per my blood report done 2-3 months back I had a normal blood sugar level. So can this be symptoms of mucormycosis or this is something specifically related to eye infection? I have no problem in my nose though.

Hi. It surely is an eye infection considering the drops your eye doctor prescribed. But it is NOT mucormycosis . Regards .

It can be due to many reasons..and the eye drops u were using cannot be stopped suddenly without consultation. That is why the problem has recurred back! So I would suggest u to get a proper eye checkup by teleconsultation or visit a local ophthalmologist!
