Redness in cataract operated eye
My mom felt pain in right eye which was operated for cataract a year ago, since an hour now..when I checked it appeared red with some eye discharge..shall I put the same eye drops suggested to be used for a month after eye operation?Because a couple of months ago when she had similar pain & redness in the same eye, I put the same eye drops for 2-3 days & thereafter she was fine.. Is it something to worry abt? She cooks food even after cataract for abt 8 months now..shd she refrain from cooking? Is cooking causing the problem? Shd this eye drops be continued for 7-10days..

It's better to consult local ophthalmologist and then start treatment.

No, you should not use the drops without consulting an ophthalmologist. Please consult an ophthalmologist to arrive at a diagnosis and for proper management.
