When i wake up in the morning my mucus color is red ....i am smoker....i do not have cough...i have 2 -3 months mucus everyday....and colour in morning iss red plss help me iam soo tensed

Blood tinged sputum especially in smokers needs to be evaluated in detail by clinical examination x ray of chest, CT thorax and bronchoscopy if necessary. Identification of cause is important before planning any treatment
