Red dotty rash on ankles
A friend has a red dotty-looking rash around ankles and has previously put water bottle there repeatedly and so we at first thought it could be erythema ab igne (fire stains) from looking online. However, it easily blanches (disappears) when pressed and has been like this for over a year since stopping using water bottle. I would not have thought that the rash should blanche especially after so long a period. Can you confirm if this means it is not erythema ab igne ?
