Stop taking hifenac p and azithromycin. In fever taking medications like hifenac is not at all recommended in fact it is discouraged as it cause renal damage. Just take plain paracetamol. The cause for common cold is viral which is almost always subsides by itself. Azithromycin is an antibiotic it is used only in the treatment of bacterial infections not viral. Either you have started those medications on your own which is very bad for your own self or the doctor you consulted is either a fake one or highly inefficient one who is devoid of all basic medical knowledge.
Next Steps
My sincere suggestion is that you consult a good physician and get evaluated. Yes you may get tested for covid no harm in that.
Health Tips
Always be careful about your health medicines are not chocolates that you can take anything and anytime. And research about a doctor before consulting, only consult a capable doctor. Don’t waste you health and money.
Temperature 99 degree and above is considered as fever.. you are safe to take dolo 650mg 6th hourly once.. kindly stop taking hifenac p..
If your symptoms are not getting better with medications it's better you do RTPCR test for the confirmation.. meanwhile ..Drink plenty of fluids, steam inhalation, salt water gargling, avoid cold food and drinks, avoid stress and tensions, sleep minimum 8 hours at night, monitor temperature and oxygen levels 6th hourly once.. if any alarming symptoms inform the health authorities nearby.
