Recovery from chicken pox
I showed signs of chicken pox last Thursday and since then I have been in complete isolation. Now all my spots have dried up and shed off and it's the 9th day today. When can I return back to work after having chicken pox and how to know that I have fully recovered from the disease. I have a 3 year old daughter so do not want to spread this to her or other members in the family.

Generally the virus spreads through respiratory droplets...3 days prior rash to last day of ur crests. ..which lasts for 14 to 21 days post fever... u can vaccinate ur household contacts instead of long isolation, who did not get chicken pox earlier...within 5 days of contact with u
