Recovering- typhoid- food restrictions
Hi, My typhoid screening test came back positive on Friday and I've had high fever, shivering, body ache, headache etc from Wednesday night (27th Feb) but my fever has now abated and all the aches etc are better too, I've been put on a ten day course of cefpodoxime + ofloxacin (200mg each) twice daily since Thursday night. Now I wanted to know specifically about food restrictions. Im currently avoiding all fried food but wanted to know if it's ok during this ten day period to eat chicken, sea fish and possibly even beef albeit in a non fried and/ or spicy form. I'm in Kerala during this period and such food has been traditional part of my diet. Also the typhoid was contracted in Delhi. #Help
