I am finally feeling good and it feels I am recovering from depression just my memory and focus has been affected a bit more.Does this get better with time or the medicines are messing up.

Medicines r important so that u don’t relapse.
Taking some Counselling along with ur medicines will help u gain ur confidence back.
Also u can try some cognitive retraining exercises.

Well it does get better with time and medicines. Medication dont affect memory and focus instead improve it. Dont lose hope! Follow up with your psychiatrist in case of more doubts.
While problems with focus and memory can be symptoms of depression it can be side effect of sone anti depressants. Do not stop your antidepressants as it dan lead to relapse but do share the medications you are on. It will help better guide you.
