General cleaning should be done atleast yearly once . Do regular night brushing and mouth rinse . Use 2 %chlorhexidine rinse and XTAR toothpaste to prevent plaque accumulation. Take Dentokind gum astringent and massage your gums daily .
First the cause of receding gums should be diagnosed. The treatment depends on that. If it is a gum problem then scaling and polishing and then Home maintainence properly. If it is a traumatic bite then correcting bite issues will help. Consult a dentist for proper diagnosis
