Reccurent Fever
My grandfather 82 years age. Getting Recurring Fever after few days. With no other symptoms than mild cough. CRP level was 28 and 50 ESR level was 50 and 70 when test were performed. All other reports and xray normal. Was treated with Doxy 100, Montek LC, Prelid 8mg, Limcee, Syrup Mucolite and Syrup Betonin But the fever exists still.

Considering his age and recurrent fever he is having despite using antibiotic warrants further investigation. Elderly people are quite prone to infection especially urinary tract infection including prostatitis, Perhaps he needs re examination by his treating doctor

Need detailed history and investigations to rule out causes of fever.At this age any malignancy have to be ruled out first. Take proper consultation .
