Random pain on left chest.
I am having random pain in my left chest anytime from past 1.5 year. In order to insure it is not heart pain 6 month back I under go TMT test and chest X-ray but doctor told everything is normal and you don't need to worry he have told me that it might be mascular pain but my question is how long this pain will be and how line of treatment. My consultant was at AIIMS New Delhi. Shall I need to visit hospital again?

You may require antacids. These lifestyle changes may help: - Don't skip meals, have a healthy well balanced diet. - Reduce/ Avoid spicy,fried, fatty, junk and oily food - Avoid/ Limit drinking coffee, tea and carbonated drinks to once a day - Exercise regularly (minimum 30 mins) - Increase daily intake of water to 3 liters - Avoid/Stop smoking and drinking if you have the habit - Reduce stress through methods such as yoga/meditation. If the pain is persistent or worsens kindly visit the ER.
