As per guide lines no need of taking vaccination-but personally I recommend you to take full doses of vaccine because of my experience during my medical studies at Trivandrum Government Medical College- Similar incident occurred for a medical student-she had consulted one of the best physician-UNIT HEAD OF M3 unit and he advised her that there is no need of vaccination-but she had a tragic death out of Rabies with in 70 days- The Physician was weeping on her side.
This shows that nothing is certain about exposure to Rabies— We have got a very safe vaccine-so why should we take a one in million chance of tragic death.Teaching and Medical practice are different.
