Rabies vaccine booster dose
Doctor yesterday i asked a question my question was i am previously vaccinted with 4 Dose intradermal Anti Rabies Vaccination schedule was Day 0 3 7 28 around 5 month's Ago and again i took 3 intradermal rabies vaccine Along with TT Day 0 7 28 Last rabies vaccine was taken on 4th September 2022 and yesterday on 21st September A Street Cat Scratch me with Nails No Deep Wound just skin redness and drop like blood comes out so should i have to take booster dose of Rabies Vaccine and here on practo doctors said yes take booster dose but i read World health organization ( WHO) Guidelines and guidelines says No need to take Vaccine if exposure happens within 3 month's of completing A schedule. So can you please clear this.

if again a dog/any animal bite happens, you need not to take any anti rabies vaccine. Only wound treatment. If "after 3 months" of vaccination, animal bite happens, you need to take 2 booster dose on day 0 and 3. No need of rabies immunoglobulin.
