Rabies vaccination dose
If a person was previously vaccinated with 5 doses of ARV (Chirorab) less than 3 years ago, are two booster doses of ARV enough for protection on re-exposure? Vaccination was started two days after exposure, but second dose got delayed by 3 days, i.e. 0,6 due to some situation. So to be on safe side a 3rd dose was given 3 days after the second dose, so second dose treated as day 0 and then third dose as day 3. Will the person be safe or more dose(s) needed?
