Bats may transmit Rabies but in your case there is no direct contact with the bat. It didn't bite you. It didn't fall on your bed. You have removed it from the room with the help of cloth. So there is no need. So scientifically speaking you don't need Anti-rabies vaccine. But if you are apprehensive then it is entirely your decision. You may ask for it.

Based on the situation you have described, there is a possibility of rabies transmission if the bat was rabid, even if you are not sure about being bitten. In India, while bats are not a common source of rabies, it is always better to take precautions because rabies is a fatal disease. Sometimes bat bites can go unnoticed, especially while sleeping, as their teeth are small and sharp. Given your concern and the fact that rabies is preventable with vaccination, it is recommended to get a rabies vaccine as a precautionary measure. Please consult me for a more thorough evaluation and treatment plan, or you can message me on eight zero zero nine eight two one double three two for further guidance.
