Rabies Anxiety (Unknown Exposure)
2 days ago went to the hills near forest in Himachal. While walking in the open area of the resort in night, a drop of liquid from above went inside my left eye just as I was below a metal roof with big open spaces between the rods. I looked up & could just see a moth flying near lights attached to the metal bars. Ever since this episode, it immediately triggered anxiety that what if it was a bat and bat saliva went inside my eye since bats are swift and difficult to see, and they fly near moths to eat them. I know I am overthinking as I could not even see a bat but pls suggest if I need to take ARV? I couldn't wash eyes, & only put lubricant drops 1hr after. This anxiety has come from last year's event when a friend's dog jumped on my thigh & scratched over my jeans. To be sure, i took 0,3,7 and 28 doses intramuscular last year (skipped 14 to convert it into preexposure as the dog was domestic and alive after 10 days). Can I safely forget this or get 0, 3 day doses to be sure?
