Hello doctor 12 april 2025 rabbies suspected cat nail scratch me not bleed but scratch mark..my last rabbies vaccine taking status 24 march and 27 march 2025 has 2 rabbies booster shot day 0 and 3 .now can I need rabbies vaccine?

Better to get rabies antibody titer test done and if it's within range then no need for further vaccination

It's a good thing you got previously vaccinated..
You'll need to check your antibody titer... first
Then if you have low titer of antibodies...go for vaccination...you can get only 3 doses of vaccination that's enough

Hi, Since you received 2 rabies booster doses recently—on March 24 and 27, 2025 (Day0 nd Day 3)—you are considered protected as per current guidelines for previously vaccinated individual.
In your case, the cat scratch on April 12 did not bleed and occurred within a short time after your recent boosters. Therefore, no additional rabies vaccination is required at this point.However, do keep the area clean nd monitor for any signs of infection. If the cat was behaving unusually or cannot be observed, it's always good to discuss the case with a healthcare provider for individual assessment.
