I've been introduced quetiapine 25 for bipolar disorder for a month now. I've been having night time palpitations because of the medicine daily. Should I talk with my doctor to replace it with extended release version? Does xr/sr version causes less palpitations?

Quetiapine as a molecule only rather than preparation, is known to cause ECG changes in vulnerable individuals. You need an ECG and echo to rule out that.
