QUERY REGARDING GENUINENESS OF TREATMENT
I visited a Dentist yesterday and he told me that first he'll clean my teeth thrice at different intervals and will then go for scaling.
My teeths have turned yellow with brown layer over it.
The doctor shows that he is graduated in RDS. What is RDS ?

OP may be stands for Oral Prophylaxis, which includes Scaling and tooth polishing. But sorry to say I am not aware of any degree of Dentistry like RDS in India.

You should change your Dental Surgeon, search for BDS or BDS and MDS

RDS is restorative is restorative dental science. It is a small course to be done after BDS. Not sure about its validity as a DCI certified degree.
OP is oral prophylaxis that is teeth cleaning.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist with DCI approved BDS or MDS degree.
I am not sure about RDS.

This condition of your teeth will not be solved only by cleaning or scaling and polishing
Yellowish colour of the tooth is intrinsic means from inside the tooth, which needs expert opinion and genuine treatment planning

I would suggest please visit someone who has an official DENTAL degree - they all have a registered dental number. Scaling is a very basic procedure and doesn’t need cleaning thrice according to my opinion

Never heard of RDS degree. Please visit a BDS or an MDS doctor registered under dental council of India.
