Query regarding a medication
I have been prescirbed Acotiamide 100mg twice a day before meals..Checked on the internet and found that it may sometimes cause abnormalities in liver function..Is it so ? Shall I start the medicine..My SGOT, SGPT and GGT were 36, 61 and 24 respectively in May 2023.. Shall I start the medication..This is a query so please dont suggest " Consult online".

It is safe to presume that it was prescribed by some Doctors.
If they are alive and still in India (or even if they are abroad but have taken their 📞 along) , please ask them.
In fact even this query should not have come online.
