Query regarding a medication
I have been prescirbed Acotiamide 100mg twice a day before meals..Checked on the internet and found that it may sometimes cause abnormalities in liver function..Is it so ? Shall I start the medicine..My SGOT, SGPT and GGT were 36, 61 and 24 respectively in May 2023.. Shall I start the medication..This is a query so please dont suggest " Consult online".

You said that "you have been prescribed" . It is safe to presume that it was prescribed by some Doctors. If they are alive and still in India (or even if they are abroad but have taken their 📞 along) , please ask them. In fact even this query should not have come online.
