Hello. I can understand how scared you must be feeling. Dosage error can happen with any parent, so don’t blame yourself. Don’t administer any more doses until a physical consultation is done. It is a high dose, but not enough to be toxic. Will need to check baby’s weight and other symptoms if present to be completely sure. If there are no symptoms and baby has gained adequate weight, it should be alright.
Next Steps
Discuss the same with your pediatrician when you go for her 6 weeks vaccinations. If the consultant feels necessary, he might order some tests and lead from there.
Health Tips
Always double check the drug name, dosage and expiry dates before administering to your baby.

1200 iu daily exceeds the normal dose. Does your baby have any symptoms?? Like vomiting, poor feeding, lethargy?? If your baby is growing well and has no symptoms, switch back to 400iu daily asap. Consult for further information.
