It’s understandable to worry, but only a pediatrician can confirm if your baby has craniosynostosis. This condition occurs when the skull bones fuse too early, potentially affecting head shape and growth. However, the hard ridge you feel could also be normal skull development. The visible forehead veins might be due to thin skin in babies. Since your child is active, walking, and speaking, these are positive signs. Reduced height growth might not be directly related. Consult a pediatrician or pediatric neurologist for evaluation. A physical exam or imaging like an X-ray or CT scan will help diagnose and guide treatment.

Is your baby's head out of shape. If you know where the sutures are examine them to see if there is a ridge along the sutures. If you find any developmental delays or your baby is having seizures it is best to consult a doctor who can examine the baby and guide you further. It is not a case for which one should get an online consultation.

Hi, Please don't get confused and worried about things which you are not sure about, probably during delivery and after that you might be visiting pediatrician for vaccination and other issues, if any abnormalities observed by the Dr then would have been communicated, still next time clear your doubts. For now relax and enjoy the time with your child.
