For a Pathologist the study of Amniotic fluid is an easy test compared to NIPT.
NIPT is a more expensive test and the pick up rate of Foetal cells is also low.
You should discuss with your Gynaecologist about the availability of the test. If both are being done in your city then Amniocentesis is better.
