Quad test - High risk for trisomy 21
I'm 28y old and 18 weeks pregnant now with no health issues.. My NT scan was normal at 12 weeks. So my doc said there is no need for double marker test and suggested to go for quadruple marker test to be on safe side. Got my quad reports today which says high risk for trisomy 21 (1:105 ratio), but they also said it could be a false positive. Advised to go for Amniocentesis test asap, but we are confused whether taking the risk(1% miscarriage risk) is worth it or if there are any better alternatives. Please advise.
