My mother aged 52 has got injection at the back above bottocks one month back. It was swollen since then and now pus is coming out of it. Is it an serious thing or will it be healed on its own?

Pus from the injection site , is an injection abcess . Usually it gets resolved in a few days,but incomplete drainage may result in local complications.

Yes if pus is coming from the site u need to get it checked as sometimes the pus gets resolved in its own if less but if it's more it might require a doctor to drain it .
