Pupil (central part of iris, brown or black colour part) becomes small when light falls, this is called light reflex. With this action it prevents bright light entering eyes, causing damage to  retina. If this reaction is absent or sluggish pts will not be able to tolerate bright light and  vision will not be clear due to light  aberrations. Post covid pupil reaction  may be affected if there is any pupillary muscle paralysis. Better to  consult once.
