Pulse rate is around 100 all the time
Hi, My mothes pulse rate is around 100 all the time. BP is 135/82 when in rest position. She is using nebivol-5, telmisatan 40 in morning and amlip 2.5 and indinol 1.5 in night and apixaban 2.5 mg since 3 days daily for 14 days. Her D-dimer level is 1250 when we tested 4 days back that's why we started Apixaban (also she is using steroid-medrol since 7 days as doctor suggested bcoz of COVID few days back. Now quarantine also over. may be steroid is the reason? Any further medication required. Kindly suggest.

Please consult your doctor. Post covid high heart rates could be due to anxiety, clots ( high d Dimer) , infections ( patients is on steroids).

The blood picture shows infection. High heart rate is multifactorial. Infection or dehydration can cause high heart rate
