Pulse rate high shows on oximeter
I have diagnosed with GAD and taking paroxetine 25mg and smoking 5 cigarettes a day and taking alcohol sometimes and also in a Baclofen for AUD, yesterday I did ECG but it shows normal and whenever I check pulse rate on oximeter it always shows high,why it happens sir, sometimes I feel nausea and anxious,when I see beyond 100 pulse rate I get afraid a lot,and I did echo one month before and it was normal,Dear Doctor sir can you explain plz, whether I m having coronert artery disease or atherosclerosis,I m so worried since I have diagnosed with Panic disorders also

You may or may not have a coronary artery disease. But if you continue to smoke you will remain at a high risk of a heart attack, since even healthy individuals have some amount of atherosclerosis in their coronary arteries and smoking predisposes to their rupture/erosion leading to clot formation and a heart attack. So, the one best treatment for you would be to stop smoking. Your heart rate above 100 does not seem bothersome to me.
