Hi Doctor
My daughter is 6 years old.she is completely vaccinated till date.my concern is that the reason for the moving to the new city is that I wasn't aware of the place where the oral pulse polio drops had given.so I missed oral pulse polio drops after her 3 .5 years age..
Is there anything to get tensed.

Hello
Missing one dose is not dangerous if she had her primary doses, but it’s important to catch up now to stay protected and help eliminate polio from the community.
Next Steps
Catch-up OPV doses can be given safely at this age.
No need to restart the schedule, just give the missed dose(s).
Participate in the next Pulse Polio campaign, which is free and safe.
Health Tips
Even though your child has received earlier doses, booster doses are essential to maintain community protection (herd immunity).

Hello,
No need to worry about it if she is immunized with previous doses completely.
Check whether she was given an injectable polio vaccine at the age of 5 years.
