About pulse polio
Hello doctor.. my baby I 32 week pre matured baby. 3 months completed now. She took 1 and half month and 2 and half months vaccine. 22- 06-2026 gave vaccine to her. DTwP2, OPV2, Hib 2, Rotavirus2. This Sunday June 28 pulse polio day.. so my baby take again polio drops.?

There is no minimum interval required between a routine OPV dose and a Pulse Polio OPV dose.The Pulse Polio dose is an additional supplementary dose given to all eligible children during National/Sub-National Immunization Days. Yes. Even if your baby received OPV as part of the routine immunization schedule on 22-06-2026, she should still receive Pulse Polio drops during the Pulse Polio campaign if she is eligible. The Pulse Polio dose is an additional supplementary dose and does not replace or interfere with routine vaccinations. Prematurity is not a contraindication.
