Hello Doctor, is puffed rice along with peanut is healthy snack for tea time. It is safe and healthy to eat daily in evening? Photo is attached for ur reference. Please advice. Thanks

Hi Yes you can have it occassionally but not often..as it's a simple carbohydrate..and not a viable option to have it often...and you can have in the morning or in the mid-morning time..if you want.. Puffed rice is also a type of carbohydrate that turns into glucose when consumed ..so it's better to have it intermittently but not daily that too evening as a tea snack..

Hi Its safe and health for evening snack but the quantity should me measured, you can eat one medium sized bowl daily.

One should always change the food pattern at the intervals of 2-3 days, as same food enhances monotonous routine  and fat increment. Though this you can take initially for 2-3 days and than change it to something healthy than again switch to the same

Hi, Cereal and pulse combination gives excellent proteins which are well absorbed so puffed rice and chana is ideal, nuts like peanuts can add essential fats forming a balanced snack. Going further add vegetables for fibre if you can. Also variations are very important in a balanced diet so keep changing your snack options.
