My son is too invovoved in mobiles, computers to take care of his studies, health, sleep etc. Discussions , punishments are not yielding any result. Can this be treated or 5sken care off by medical advice?

Yes, maybe he is having attention deficit disorder. Consult a psychologist.

To specifically and correctly answer your query your sin would require a comprehensive assessment of this behavior specifically as well as related behaviors, thoughts and other related parameters. May be he has internet addiction, depression, inattention, etc or it may just be an excessive indulgence without a psychiatric diagnosis. However in any case it will serve you and your son well to seek a consultation for comprehensive evaluation. There may also be an underlying depression which may require treatment. Behavior therapy is highly indicated here
