Protein traces in urine

Asked for Female, 34 Years

My mother has Albumin traces in urine regularly and urine is acidic.please suggest if it's a problematic and needs to consult nephrologist. she is hypertensive, diabetic. she is also under treayment for mood swings.pls suggest if any precaution to be take to avoid further complications too

Good afternoon Normally urine will be acidic to prevent bacterial growth. Thats not a problem. If urine Albumin is trace, you have to quantify the Albumin and protein leak in urine Diabetes and hypertension are the two common reasons for Albumin leak in urine It can controlled.
