  4. Prolonged period. Need to take any step!

Prolonged period
I am 44 years old..I always got my periods between 25 to 28 days..for the first time i got it after 40 days On day 1 it was watery and proper flow started on day 2.. My periods usually lasts for 5 days but this time I am having spotting on day 6 , have never had this earlier Can you let me know if this normal or do I need to take any step Thanks

This is not normal you need investigations to find out the reason for this abnormality and treatment can be offered accordingly
