Profound hearing loss in left ear
I have a profound hearing loss in left ear & had recently got it confirmed from a local ENT doctor. I guess this loss is from birth and I have ignored it for a long time.He suggested me hearing aid and have been using the same. But with the hearing aid I am just sensing the sound but can't understand it. Also last few days my ears feel kinda of heavy.I am not sure abt this treatment from my local doctor and need a second opinion over the same. This is affecting my social skills and really hurting my self esteem.

since birth if you have profound Hearing loss ..nothing much can be done.. but consult an ENT surgeon who does cochlear implants for expert opinion.
