Problem with my new glasses
After changing my prescription from -3 sphere to minus 5 sphere -1 cylinder 170axis i get a headache when i try to focus on near object sometimes i can also see near object blurry when i look at near object for 2-3 seconds.i need power concentration to focus on near object.

Dilate pupils and get ur refraction done correctly...  Correct prescription is not given to u.

It takes time to adapt to new glasses. Myopia patient have convergence weakness .Get your glasses power rechecked,centration of glasses.Get a dilated refraction n fundus evaluation.

Do check if the glass power is correct as prescribed, centration of glasses etc. n glass not overcorrected in terms of  number .... Sometimes,  takes few days to adjust too..

I think you are wrongly given prescription of -5 D. You are probably overcorrected

Unlikely to have sudden change from -3.0 to -5.0 DS.... Needs dilated refraction to rule out possibility of overcorrection....otherwise also with change of glasses one need some time to get adjusted
