U may have tonsillitis...the cause may be group b beta hemolytic infection.....pain in throat could be enlargement of tonsils....which if further enlarged may lead to breathing problem...antibiotic treatment is necessary...

treatment consists of antibiotic which include zocef(cefuroxime axetil) 250 mg twice a day for 7 days.....signoflame one tablet twice a day......pantop DSR twice a day....odimont fx at night...gargle betadine for 7 days...

avoid cold,sour,pickle and curd.....use saline water gargle twice a day always...
