Problem in feet thumb
Few months back i had met with an accident nd had 8 stiches between my feet thumb and its joint nd iam facing a lot problem in bending nd all should i go for a surgery or any other solution

Hi, Thank you for your question. Without seeing the x-ray it is difficult to comment whether you should go for surgery or not. If your pain level is severe and day to day walking is difficult than you should consider a surgeon's opinion. If your pain is not bothering in regular activity than you can consider orthotic insoles to offload the pressure from the toe. Post traumatic injury takes time to heel because of deep tissue injury and contusion. But before thinking of surgery you should consider Physiotherapy to improve the function and performance of your muscle and joint.
