Primary open angl glucoma

Asked for Male, 44 Years

Sai ram ji.sir i am a patient of primary open angel glucoma my optic nerve both eyes are badly damege and visual field are 25%damege.i am taking BRIMOCOME bd and 9 pm latanoprost od since 15 months.SLT laser are also done in july 15 both eyes.i am also dibetic this time my sugar normal. Please guide me sir.with regards

Hello there, as you have glaucoma, the only way to prevent further glaucomatous damage to your optic nerve is only by intra ocular pressure control. Kindly ask your doctor if your pressures are under control with these medicines. Based on the info you have given pressures below 15mm Hg might be needed to be maintained constantly . If it is not achieved, then you can consider surgery as the last option.
