First step : Believe your doctor. I am very sure that these medications have been prescribed by the Psychiatrist for your depression. He might have analysed a lot on your signs and symptoms and would have prescribed the medicine. Every medicine has their own positive and negatives effects which will be monitored in subsequent follow-up. If it is not prescribed by a psychiatrist, stop taking the medicines and consult a psychiatrist or psychologist. Self medication is not advised. Googling the medicine is absolutely not encouraged.

Medications are safe to take. Can be taken at night. If you feel more awake after taking them, then can be taken in the morning. Take it after food.
