  4. Premie baby Head Circumference. Her age?

Premie baby Head Circumference
Hi , My baby was born at 30 weeks + 1 day gestation weighing 1229gms, head circumference 27.5 cms and height 40.5 cms. Currently she is 6 months old and weighs 4600 gms , head circumference- 37 cms and height- 57 cms. Our these measures good for her age?

Yes these measures r good Just go for growth monitoring every 3 monthly As corrected age still 4 months , weight gain is appropriate but start giving complementary feeds along with breast feed if baby have completed 6 months

Hi yes this appears normal. For preterm babies catch up of weight to normal child’s weight occurs at 2 years of age. Nothing to worry about it slowly and gradually all parameters improves. Regular check up for monitoring of length and weight are required
