Baby head circumference
Hi,doc my baby is 13 months old ( baby boy ) & his head circumference is 48cm height 77.5 cm & current weight is 9.7kg . I worried about his head circumference (48 cm) is this normal?.. baby doing all activities & his milestone are also perfect .

Hello,
His head circumference is absolutely normal according to his age and gender
Normal head circumference At birth is- 34-35cms
Grows 2cm/ month for 1-3 months
1cm/month for 3-6months
0.5cm/month for 6-12months
By the end it should grow-12cms
So at 1year it should be 46cms
So your child is absolutely fine

Hello.. For a 13 months old boy , head circumference of 48 cm, height 77.5 cm and weight of 9.7 kg . All three falls in the normal range .
Your concern about head circumference.. it is 48 cm . Even it is normal range( 43.8 - 48. 9 cm ) . U need not worry about it. According to you, milestones are also normal . So there is no need to worry.
