Hcg is the harmone that is secreted by the chorionic cells in the uterus . It increase many folds in pregnancy .
It is detected in blood upto 2 miu in blood ans upto 50 miu in urine .
So the sensitivity of the test method and brand matters ,
If it’s not increases either it’s no pregnancy
Non viable pregnancy ( blighted ovum )
Or the testing kit/ person isar fault

Hello,
Firstly, would like to know how long your married for. Also any known medical illnesses? Blood sugars, thyroid levels.
Hope you are well aware of the fertile period and the frequency of intercourse.
Now, if you have been ovulating, that means releasing eggs with the induction, but unable to conceive, we do ask the couple to try naturally for a few months, for the fact that your Husband semen analysis is also normal. Your gynaecologist is right.
Also you have mentioned you never had any known pelvic infections, or surgeries, makes tubal block unlikely. However once we have given atleast 3 to 6 months of natural trial, if you dont conceive we go ahead and investigate the tubes as well.
Point of note, BMI, thats your weight to height ratio is slightly high, putting you in Overweight category that's BMI 28. I would encourage you to follow a healthy lifestyle in terms of diet and moderate exercise to bring your BMI to between 20-25.
Meanwhile dont be anxious, just try for a couple of months more before we look into the next level of tests and treatment protocols for you.
