Pregnant affected with chicken pox
My wife is 14 weeks pregnant and she is now effected with chicken pox. Will it effect the baby. Is giving birth to the fetus or abortion is a good?

Hi, Since first trimester is over,organogensis is already done..so no problem in continuing d pregnancy,if chicken pox had happened near term within 5 days of delivery d chances of baby getting affected r more, Right now Wat u have to do is do a detailed malformations scan by someone renowned,preferably in Mumbai.. I have worked with some of d best fetal medicine specialist in Mumbai.. Lemme noe if ne contacts needed
