Hi there. Severe pain is definitely not normal in early pregnancy. You Must consult a gynaecologist for a scan to rule out ectopic pregnancy which can have disastrous consequences of left undiagnosed. Even otherwise you need to be started on Prenatal vitamins etc  so you must get yourself booked with a good gynaec.

High intensity pain in pregnancy is not normal. Get one usg done to rule out any alarming cause. Consult your gynaec to get treatment.

You need to see a doctor soon. An ultrasound needs to be done. It may be difficult to see a pregnancy by abdominal USG at this early stage, in which case a transvaginal one may need to be done.
