Now I'm 37 weeks pregnant..i have a gestational diabetes. Last week my rbc sugar 98. I'm metformin daily 3 times. My doctor told me today that due to gestational diabetes go for c-secction. it's not good if I wait for delivery until 40weeks she said and she said 38 weeks are better to for surgery. Is it correct or not please suggest me normal delivery is possible if I wait until 40 weeks is it good for baby? Please suggest me and tell me.

Yes. An early Caesarean is better for pregnant women. But where is  the Diabetes? You had random blood sugar level. It is normal. You never got blood sugar F & PP done.  You don't have HbA1c report. You are just taking Metformin which is a very weak anti-diabetic especially if used alone. So please first confirm your diagnosis and then you may have pre term Caesarean.
