How many mg folic acid tablets should be taken before trying for pregnancy. I m trying for pregnancy for last 8 months but not got success.i have regular cylcle of 28 days but periods are up to 3 days

Folic acid is for proper growth of the fetus once you concieve...it will not help in pregnancy per say...you need to do a few basic tests like a sonography... hormonal tests...semen analysis of husband to find out if there is any abnormality... connect with me online for a detailed consultation...all the best

You should take consultation properly, some test are required  as like Husband semen test, follicular study, Hsg, periods should be regular, and chat me online  on practofor more knowledge about your menstrual cycle, safe and fertile days.

folic acid doesn't help u to become pregnant.. it s given to prevent neural tube defects n fetus. if u hv bn trying since 8 Months with no success , you cn consult with me online..
