Pregnancy query
My wife(36 yrs 11 months) is in 8th month of pregnancy; recently doctor said that the amniotic fluid is more (as per sonography test - AFI is 19). Also amniocentesis is normal. Sugar is normal. Is there any further risk?

Increased liqour is mainly due to maternal , fetal or placental. If anamoly scan and amniocentesis mostly rules out fetal cause. Diabetes is common cause .as blood sugar level are normal . Sometimes at this stage there is transient increase in liqour. as pregnancy progresses it becomes normal. So just keep follow up with scan and blood sugar.
