Pregnancy Planning: Test Results & Next
Hello Doctor, My Wife recently got some tests done because we are planning to try for pregnancy. Below are the key values from the reports: Thyroid Profile: TSH: 4.52 uIU/mL (Reference: 0.27 - 4.2) T3: 114.3 ng/dL (Normal) T4: 7.66 ug/dL (Normal) Hematology (CBC): Hemoglobin: 11.2 gm% (Slightly low) RBC Count: 4.75 million/cu.mm (Normal) WBC Count: 3200 /cu.mm (Slightly low) Platelet Count: 329000 /cu.mm (Normal) Biochemistry: Random Blood Sugar (RBS): 79 mg% (Normal) Since we are planning for pregnancy, can we start trying now, or do we need any treatment or supplements first? Also, do you recommend any additional tests? Looking forward to your advice. Thank you!
